I am very interested in Film. I have been interested in the major for quite some time now. The idea of working in the film industry and creating something for people to see and enjoy has always intrigued me.

Like I said I have been interested in film for a ling time. I have always been a big fan of movies. From a young age my father had me watching all types of movies. Before DVD's became popular we had an entire wall in our basement devoted to videos. The shelves were stacked with every kind of movie you could think of. Horrors, romance, adventure, comedies. I love them all. When I was younger me, my friend and my brother would make movies using an old video camera. We always had a good time making them and loved showing our mothers the end product. For the past couple of years I have been using a program on my computer that lets me edit and creat videos. I think thats when I realized I wanted to major in film and hopefully become a director someday. Its obviously very difficult but I am taking a film class hear at Bristol Community College. I am enjoying the class alot and learning new things.

Most aspiring film directors have to start at the bottom of the barrel and work there way up but I am more then willing to give it a shot. Its alot of work but in the end you have something to show for all that hard work. And having something to show for all the time and energy you put into creating something is the most rewarding part of being a film maker I would think.
